Make IT work for you rather than letting it dictate how you work. IT is of course a massive labour saving tool. It is however rarely as slick as it could be. Significant savings are there for the taking with IT but this often involves an upfront investment. It may be that antiquated IT equipment is holding us back where an upgrade could speed things up significantly. It may also be an investment in training would reap benefits. Investing some time in stopping and thinking if we could do things more efficiently could also be beneficial in the long term.
