About the 1% Challenge

What?

The 1% Challenge is a company wide business improvement project.

Who?

This process engages each and every person involved in or with your business.

The Objective

The premise of the challenge is to improve the net profit of the business by at least 1% and that is of course a desirable outcome. Setting a low, easily achievable target quickly gets results and re-inforces the value of business improvement efforts. The challenge therefore empowers everyone in the business to carry on making small continuous improvements and keep improving the profitability way beyond the original 1%.

Aspects Addressed

The challenge aims to cover all aspects of your business from procuring paperclips to improving productivity. By involving everyone, all individual aspects of the company should be addressed.

Delivery

You will need a nominated 'champion' to co-ordinate the Challenge. This does not need to be a senior person, but they will of course need full backing of the senior management team. BD23 will work with your champion to get the very best out of the project and get results.

We will provide a comprehensive package of support materials for the challenge including promotional, training and award collateral. We also present the challenge to your staff and will help you identify your costs and potential savings targets. Additional support is provided as and when you require it.
